Danish restaurant crowned the world’s best… yet again!

May 4, 2012 , ,

Danish restaurant Noma was crowned the world’s best restaurant for the 3rd year in a row in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants listing, produced by Britain’s ‘Restaurant Magazine’. The voting was done by a panel of more than 800 chefs, restaurateurs, journalists and food experts.

Nationally, Spain and the United States tied with 3 restaurants each in the top 10! Brasil, Italy and Great-Britain each made it with one restaurant in the top 10. But France didn’t 😉

I am particularly happy about this recognition of Noma and the Nordic diet, which I described in an episode of Par-dessus le marché in September 2009 (in French).
