Our hypotoxic menus appreciated on the blog of Jacqueline Lagacé

There was a wonderful surprise awaiting us yesterday on the blog of Jacqueline Lagacé: A very nice testimonial from Chef Caroline Roy.

If you are fans of a hypotoxic diet or gluten-free diet and live in Quebec or Ottawa, you probably know about the bakery products of Cuisine L’Angélique (and if you don’t know them yet, you should check them out).

Caroline Roy and her husband Guy Letendre created this company in 2008, following their own experience with a gluten- and casein-free diet to improve the health of their son, who had several symptoms resembling autism. In fact the Autism Research Institute recommends this diet as treatment for this condition.

Thanks to Caroline and Annette for having taken the time to share their experiences. On my part, it gives me great pleasure to share my experiences with breads and cakes here from the Cuisine L’Angélique: I find them absolutely delicious (unlike several other gluten-free products).
