Found the lentils to be a little dry, almost needed some barbecue sauce or something to give it a saucier texture - kind of like pork and beans texture, maybe. Decided it needed more garlic, so added some garlic powder near the end, then some hot sauce and a dose of Tex-Mex seasoning. Maybe what it needs is some hot Italian sausage...
